Our award-winning OASIS Box™ — a solar-powered, portable water filtration system — is now part of one of Pakistan’s first Gold Standard–verified carbon project under Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement.
This Ramadan, transform your Zakat into a lifeline for vulnerable Muslim communities across Africa. Millions of children, women, and families still lack access to safe drinking water. Your Zakat can provide them with clean, solar-powered water every day, protecting health, dignity, and lives.
This campaign is ZAKAT ELIGIBLE.
Water is the foundation of life. Without it, communities cannot thrive:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“The best charity is to give water.”
— Sahih al-Jami no. 1113
Your Zakat can provide a continuous reward (Sadaqah Jariyah) — benefiting people long after Ramadan ends.
The Solar Water Project (Bondh-E-Shams) delivers solar-powered water filtration units to remote and underserved communities. Developed with colleagues from Stanford University, our signature innovation—the OASIS Box—is a portable, solar-operated system designed to meet diverse community needs.
We begun operations in Africa in 2025 with our pilot project being in Embulbul School and Mosque which housed a total of 1000 students.
